MONSTERathon (2019)

2019-08-02

The MONSTERathon is a themed readathon about reading spooky books with monsters. Participants are divided into three competitive teams and every page read is considered a villager scared. There are optional prompts to help wrangle your list (which I definitely needed), but otherwise any book within the theme is allowed, so I'm using this as an opportunity to finish several books that have been sitting on my TBR for way too long. While I'm not officially taking part in the challenge and therefore will not feel any obligation to pull my bookish weight, this will still likely be my last big reading challenge for the year since October and November are dedicated to prepping and participating in Nanowrimo and December is reserved as my yearly month of recuperation.
